For In-Person School Visits

My high-energy assembly-style talks are tailored to KS2 audiences, drawing on my journey from a shy child to a multi-award-winning author. Sessions are carefully designed to be both inspiring and educational, supporting reading for pleasure while aligning with key curriculum themes including environment, empathy and resilience.

An assembly-style session includes:

• My personal writing journey

• Inspiration behind my books and characters

• Fascinating facts about the endangered animals featured in my stories (polar bears, whales and sea turtles)

• Climate-conscious “planet-saving” ideas

Online Visits

Ideal for Years 3-6, my virtual events are immersive, memorable experiences that encourage children to see themselves as readers, writers and changemakers and often spark continued discussion and engagement back in the classroom. They offer everything that I can do in-person - including my inspiration, an interactive quiz, planet saving tips & a Q&A
